When Golu
Goes Missing
“A simple story which explores many emotions gently, one of fear, unconditional love between animals and humans particularly children which is beautifully illustrated is a welcome addition to young children’s literature from India. The length of the book is just right for a beginner reader, I used it with an older child whose medium of instruction is not English and was delighted to see that she was transfixed by the pictures while reading even if haltingly. I do hope the author-illustrator combine to continue to bring out many more such books.”

“It is absolutely cozy and for a children’s book, it is quite a page turner. and it’s not only for children, because we all search for friends who feel upset, who feel like they don’t belong. I have been both Isha and Golu. I loved all the other characters too. may you keep never stop writing adorable and meaningful stories!”
